A Grab bag and a Freebie!!!!

Techincally iNSD (International Scrapbooking Day) is tomorrow- but the fun starts around here today! I am so excited to be participating in iNSD with my very first grab bag! Too Cute Boy New (Re-Release) & a Freebie!!

For those of you who have been around with me for awhile (or at least those who have gone back through the archives) you might remember the name of this kit- or think it looks kinda familiar. That's because I decided to re-do one of my very first kits that I ever did- Too Cute Boy. I still loved the colors of the kit- and having a boy (and another on the way) I am always in need of another boy kit,so I decided to give this one a much needed update. ScrapMatters Daily Download

Did you hear that ScrapMatters has got a brand new daily download? It's so stinking cute- you've got to run over there and get each part every day! New to the DD? Basically every once and a while they post a free kit over at ScrapMatters- but they only post a little bit of it each day- so you've got to go back everyday to get each part. (Or at least what you can remember to get!) but don't worry- if you miss it, the kits usually end up in the shop afterwards. :)

Tuesday Template Challenge

I am hosting the template challenge over at ScrapMatters this week and I would love it if you came and played! Here's the template I created for it:

Design Star Results

Well after 2 VERY long months the design competition at ScrapMatters is over- and while I am really proud to say I made it to the top 10- that's as far as I went. :( While I am really sad that I didn't make it on- I am happy that I will get to be a CT member for them. :) So look for me hanging out over there a lot more now days.

Things have also been busy around here as I am trying to pack up our tiny apartment as we head to Minneapolis for the summer for my husband to do an internship there. I am really excited- both to have an income and to see a new city! Now I just need to figure out how I can pack everything I need into a Ford Focus! :) In the meantime I realized that it's been a while since I have shared a template with you- so here you go! As usual I have included 3 sizes of the template: 12x12, 8.5x11 and 11x8.5. I hope you all enjoy it-

Simplicity Quick Page Freebie

My wonderful CT member Kayla has made another beautiful Quick Page freebie for you. Kayla has a talent for putting elements together and this page is no exception. The quick pages again are a little different than your normal quick pages- they include layered photo boxes for you to put your pictures in just like you would with a template. It makes it so much easier- no more deleting part of your pictures that overlap into the wrong holes! If you have any trouble with it just send me an email and I will help you out. Oh and the page is made using my new kit Simplicity- be sure to check it out.

Blog Background Freebies

I was making a new blog background for my personal blog, and I thought I would share what I came up with. Click on the image to download the file. Click HERE for directions on how to install the background on to your blogger blog. (Note- I've already created the image, so skip down to the part in the directions where it talks about uploading your image to photobucket.) I hope you all enjoy!

Whimsy Header-

You can customize the title on your header by opening it in Photoshop, add whatever text/photos you want, and then save it as a jpeg. To install it on your blog go to your layout and click "Edit" in the header box. Browse for the image and upload it. Under "placement" choose "Instead of title and description" and hit save.

Friday Freebie & Products Retiring

I don't know about your part of the world but it's been cold and dreary around here- so I felt like sharing a little sunshine. This template has been sitting on my computer for about 6 months now waiting for others to join it to make another template pack- but it doesn't seem to be happening, so I decided to set it free! :) I hope you all enjoy it.

Joy Quick Page

My CT member Kayla has made you another holiday freebie that is SO cute! This quick page comes in 3 sizes: 12x12, 8.5x11, and 11x8.5. Also Kayla has made them as layer mask quick pages- which I think is such a great idea. Don't you hate it when you have a quick page with multiple spots for pictures and when you put your pics in parts of the photos show up in the frames? Well Kayla solved this problem by putting in layer masks which you use just like the shapes in a template. Such a great idea! Anyways I hope you all enjoy this freebie and thanks to Kayla for making it!

Christmas Cards and a Freebie

Have you caught the holiday spirit yet? I certainly have. I know it's only October, but we had out first snowfall here last weekend, and it has gotten me inspired! First of all check out my newest project: I am so very excited about these cards! I had so much fun making them, and working on something with my sister- so go check them out! And in the psirit of Holiday giving, I have a freebie to share :) I started working on a Christmas kit to use for the cards, and I had intended on selling it here, but today I decided to just give you the papers for free instead. They're such bright wonderful colors that they really could be used for anything- not just Christmas. I hope you enjoy them!
