Birthdays are always an exciting time. Growing up I had a unique experience, because I always had to share my birthday with my twin brother. Luckily we had an awesome Mom who always made us feel like it was our own special day. She always made 2 birthday cakes (even when we would request the same kind!) and there were always birthday banners awaiting us when we would wake up that morning. Of course my favorite part about birthdays in my house growing up, was that we got to eat the leftover birthday cake the next morning for breakfast! :) And with two birthday cakes, there was always leftovers.
