New Release Day- Bright Lights Kit and Alpha

Bright Lights

Last September I went on a girls only trip to NY with my Mother in law and 2 of my sisters in law. It was such a fun trip and ever since then I have been wanting to make a kit to scrap all those pictures with. Well I finally got it done and I am SO excited about it. This kit is full of really fun bright colors and yes it is full of New York elements, but don't let that stop you if you've never been. The kit is also full of things that can be used for NON-NY pages. Just look at what my CT has created:

But of course you can always use it for some great New York pages too....

I've also got a brand new coordinating alpha going up in the shop today too. I wanted a glitter alpha that was a bit more realistic- I mean have you ever tried to glue glitter on anything? You never end up with a clean line- so that's what you've got here.

 Bright Lights Alpha

If you hurry- for this week only, you can get the alpha free with purchase of the kit!

Last but not least- what you've all been waiting for, the winner of the free Bright Lights kit is: #3-kerryt!! Thanks for everyone who played along- it was fun to get all the comments and I am glad you all like the sneak peek- Kayla did an awesome job with it. :) I am sure we'll be doing another one in the future.

An Announcement and a Freebie!!

Dear Blog Readers-
I have to apologize for my long absence but I have a good reason for it- I happen to be 14 weeks along with baby #2!!! I am very excited about the baby that is coming in July, but unfortunately it has made me feel pretty sick for the last 2 months or so, hence the reason things have been pretty quiet around here. Luckily though I am now in my 2nd trimester and while I still am sick sometimes, I can actually stand to be on the computer again. :) To celebrate I have a new element pack hitting the ScrapMatters store today and my special blog readers can get it for FREE!!

This element pack coordinates with the December newsletter kit that I worked on with WM [Squared] Designs. (Which is also on sale in the store now HERE.)

To snag the element pack for free enter in the code: ptd_baby_2010. But hurry and grab it quick because the code will only be good through next Thursday.

Announcement #2

For those of you who live in Utah I am going to be teaching 2 classes at a local scrapbooking store called Pebbles In My Pocket. One class will be an intro to blogging and the other is an Intro to Photoshop where we will be making my family tree template. If you are interested in learning more about the classes you can look on the stores blog here.

And here are the fliers for the classes- feel free to spread the word!

Friday- New Release Day and BIG news!!

It's Friday- which means it's new release day over at ScrapMatters and have I got something fun to share with you. Some of you may remember this kit- but this time it's back and it's been "digitally re-mastered" )as the Disney folk like to say) ;) - basically I've gone in and added some new really fun stuff. This is by far my favorite kit to date- you can't beat these fun colors. So click on the image and go check out my "new" kit Whimsy.

Now onto the big news- PART 1
Purple Tulip Designs has joined Facebook! It seems to be the new hot thing right now, and actually I am really excited about the possibles it gives me for interacting with all of you. So head on over to the page by clicking HERE and while you're there become a fan. I've got a great freebie in the works for all my fans- so don't wait!

PART 2-
Purple Tulip Designs is now S4H/S40 friendly!! What does that mean you ask? You can now use my products to create individual CUSTOM products for people without having to purchase a commercial license. Everything you create must be custom to each customer (i.e. that means 2 different customers can't buy the same layout with just different pictures, or use the same blog background) and they must receive their goods in a flattened format- either printed or in a non-editable digital form. If you have any questions as to what this means just shoot me an email at purpletulipdesigns.sb (at) gmail (dot) com. You can also download the newly updated TOU HERE.

I think that about covers it as far as the announcements go- I hope you all have a great weekend!

Build A Tag Set

I've been busy creating a new template set (look for it here next week) and I kept needing all sorts of different tags, and got the idea to create a tag set where you can build your own tag. I've included various tag "templates" that you can then fill with your favorite paper and finish them off with various hardware such as eyelets, strings, brads, etc. Now you don't have to worry about finding that "perfect" tag for your page, you can just create it! I hope you all enjoy it. As with all my kits, this is for personal use only. Thanks!
